Control Panel Readings

We are having a couple of problems with the Control Panel readings of our Dethleffs Globebus Camp T1. Don’t think they are connected, but anything I know is taken from a less than helpful manual. Firstly, when I check the readings for the battery when the MH is connected to the mains the readings are absolutely fine and the battery charges. When I unplug from the mains I get no reading for the vehicle battery and, I’m not certain and probably wrong, but I don’t think the vehicle battery is charging from the solar panels. I’m thinking that it’s a fuse but I cannot work out where it would be and I haven’t found much of a clue in the manuals or from the internet. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and if it’s a fuse where it might be located. It’s still under warranty but if it’s just a fuse I would just fix it obviously.

Second issue, whilst the fresh water reading seems reasonably accurate the waste water is shows 100% whether it is empty or full. No idea what’s going on there but any suggestions gratefully received.

I should say that the readings for the leisure batteries seem to reflect what I would expect.
In case it’s useful I attach photo of control panel.

Cheers Sandy

Yes. I should have said. Nothing about battery. Already had to change the electric pump fuse there.

Try removing and cleaning your waste tank level indicator, or rubbing the 4 metal rods in situ with something like the back of a kitchen sponge (the green bit).

As for the voltage reading, I would check with a meter that the engine battery is getting charged. It sounds more lie a break in the wiring circuit. Sometimes turning the panel off for 30 seconds and powering it up again might reset it.

Thanks for your reply. I’ll give that a go. TBH I’m not sure how to access inside of the grey water tank, it was so much easier in the last Motorhome. I’ll nave a look at the manual.
