Today we sold our souls to the Devil and did a deal on a 2 year old Consort Oslo with less than 4000mls on it, It is from Consort as they had an open day with factory tours and I liked the way and how they build them. The bonus is they are less than 10 miles from home. It includes Awning, 2x160w solar panels 230a lithium, flyscreen sliding door, leather trimmed upholstery, tracker They are also putting a door to access the boot from inside the van and to enable me to carry long lengths of timber and pipe when needed. This is a real step up from the Swift Mondial RL that has served us for over 10 years and over 60,000mls

I've seen that video before Chris and thought at the time it's one of the best conversions I've ever seen. I love the way they have done the back doors as well and will be doing similar in my van.

It's a cracker, enjoy!

Not keen on the fridge, having to let all the cold fall on the floor to get into the freezer, then birn gas to get back to temp, the earlier ones with two doors was much better, but of course less profit.

It's a compressor fridge so no extra gas to be burnt. The only gas is the 3 burner hob and oven as the heating and hot water is from a diesel Truma Combi but it has a 25ltr lpg tank underslung which could last 12months with just cooking use,

You might wish to re think that estimate

25ltr = 12.5 kg, after 80% max fill = 10kg

I estimate we use 340g per day for cooking. (we've got an electric ring on the stove and an electric frying pan that we use when on EHU).
25ltr = 12.5 kg, so that is under 30 days.

Having spent all your money on the van you will not be eating out too often.

I like the gray inside colour, but would rather have seasting up front so can sit with side door open when eating or just looking out, beds at back are ok.

We don't cook lettuce. and may even be reduced to eating grass now.
