Many years back i nearly came unstuck in Meung-sur-Loire in a simiular situation after i decided i knew better than the Garmin

On the way to the aire through the town centre the Garmin said turn left then turn right but i could clearly see the Parking sign straight ahead with an arrow to the left

I got to the corner and thought oh dear it took me at least a dozen shunts to get round it annoying the hell of the locals
