Hi everyone,
I have not been on this site for a while, i hope everyone is ok.
Has anyone been over to coll & tiree from oban.
What facilities are there for wildcamping.
I have done a quick search but have only found 1 campsite but they do not allow dogs as they have their own.
It is supposed to be excellent for wildlife, particularly marine mammals.
we have just returned from kintyre and Arran and saw loads of wildlife.
Only been back 2 days and am itching to be off again already.
Scotland keeps calling us back.
Hope someone out there can help.
Thanks.

Hi, I've only been to Coll once quite a long time ago and there is not a lot there! It depends on what you want, but me and my wife were staying at the hotel and thought we could make quick exit when the ferry when it returned from Tiree (it took about an hour round trip) but we were too slow! I don't know about the wildcamping but did I not read some where that MH and caravans are barred from Tiree? If you can't get a ferry you can't go!
