Coastal get aways please ??

Hi Guys

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in the south ? preferbly coastal. Looking to get away with Mid February and it will be the first time that we take out nutty Lab dog who is as mad as a box of frogs and has boundless energy.............

Some nice places around Southampton Water.

There is a nice Car Park at Lepe, direct access to the beach

Also for great views and a great place for muts try Exmouth sea front for a night and then Woodbury common which is just a couple miles inland from Exmouth. Miles of ground for pooch and fantastic views over the Ex estuary and even as far as Dartmoor. Both on the POI's

I think you can overnight opposite St Michaels Mount near to Penzance, where you are going later.

Really ???? ... thats good to know save us some money, more to spend on the cider I say !!!!

I've looked at this area a few times but recall there were barriers on both car parks which were locked at night.

A possibility not too far from Lepe might be the B3053 approach to Calshot Castle. There's lots of parking in the area and I can't recall any restrictions but will check on my next New Forest trip.
