During the last week of our recent trip we stayed for a few days in Amsterdam.
In the past we have always stayed at camping Gaasper, but this time we stayed at City camp.
It worked out at £52.26 for four nights which included exellent fast WiFi.
It’s a short walk to the free ferry into central station and the trams/ busses are just outside the door.
The area has been under going a regeneration project and is much smarter than it shows on Google street view.
If you wish to impress your better half then a coffee in Cafe Americain at the American hotel will do the job.
It has a Wonderful art deco interior

For those who do not wish to pay, then just 100 yards to the right of City camp is this area which had at least 5/6 motorhomes parked up each day.
