Arriving late friday, booked into the C&CC CS at Watersedge Lodge on Marine Drive, mainly because of the expected bad weather, only to find that all the pitches close to the EHU points had been taken, a couple of tuggers had taken two spaces each, and three MH's covering the rest, so duly parked next to the building without EHU, no refund offered.
The fee is now a massive £14 pn, the increase this year (£2) is towards the building of a new shower/wc block, so at the moment your paying for the use and not able to use:rolleyes:
Is this a CS fee record?
Was asked if I wanted to book Saturday night as well, but declined the offer otherwise would have had no cash left for Angies present:eek:

Whatever you do and wherever you go this Christmas, have a good one and don't get ripped off.

Do you mean that each tugger took up 2 spaces and 2 EHUs?:eek:

If that was the case I'd have asked the warden to ask them to move.

Each tugger had two spaces and 1 EHU, but these are limited, it's a 5 van site.
Saturday I counted 3 tuggers and 5 MH's including ours before I left, won't be returning next year, that's for sure.
A case of greed before safety and comfort I feel.
 
£14.00 for nothing, not good, think I would have asked for refund and moved on. Did you get the present?

Got Angies present, had to look for a discount after paying £14 fee:D;)
Was late and dark when I arrived otherwise would have moved on.
