You have drilled a hole through the lever, and then screw one of these in the hole? is that correct?

Interesting (in the best sense)

My vehicle is not to hand but If my memory is correct.

1 If the window is fully shut then drill through the small part of the lever and also the fixing on the window surround

2 It may be better to use the not fully closed position so the window lever is sandwiched between the 2 parts of the plastic part on the window frame.
Then drill thought all 3 you will (I think) then have a better "lock"
Downside is window is not fully closed

Interested to see what others with relevant expertise suggest

I suggest window stickers alerting that the windows are "Locked" would help as it may prevent damage by potential intruders !

Holes

Our window levers already have holes in them that previous owner put paper clips through to secure latch. Not sure if he or Elddis drilled them. Maja

I think that they won't stop any thief breaking into your van all they will do is more damage getting in, if the windows were not plastic an had a strong frame around them then it would probably work.

We leave shoes on the step and with luck, they will move on to what they think is an easier target!

Have you seen those big slippers that you put both feet in? You could get two of them and leave them on the step and they would think a giant was in there lol
