Change of Moho

When I joined the wild camping community I was the owner of a coachbuilt. Over the years my camping has been a mixture of wild and campsite stays but my favourite is definitely wild camping so I have sold the coachbuilt and I am about to collect a panel van conversion next week, a Vantage Neo on a 6.3m Fiat Ducato base. I have done my research this time and despite the hefty price tag (I keep telling myself that quality does not go out of style) I think I have made a wise choice. I thought I travelled light but by the look of the contents of the old moho, I will need to slim it down a little for the new one. Looking forward to the change over and any advice from fellow Vantage owners would be most welcome.

Good luck to you. We are in our longest ever van.. 6.2 metres. We are restricted by access to our house. It's no bigger than an ambulance or Tesco delivery van and where they can go, so can we.
I keep on saying, " Its not the length... Its what you can get up to in it ".

As its a steel van prob without a chassis do waxol it every where from ass to elbow or you will end up with nice inside goods sitting in a teabag of holes.
Do have lots of fun and health to wear.

I read somewhere that the Ducato vans are fully galvanised from 2007. My mates Renault Master van is his daily workhorse and gets hammered and there’s not a spot of rust anywhere on it. Probably due to the fact they are galvanised.

I looking to go the other way, pvc to an A or C class with a garage. Fed up not having enough storage space for long trips, small fridge / freezer and having to arse on making a bed up everyday so going for fixed singles or a double beds.
This will be my third motorhome / pvc so hopefully I will have it right this time fingers crossed.
Great vans Advantage, I visited there leeds place last year and I was well impressed. Nearly ordered a Renault Europa but the 8/9 month waiting list put me off.

Superb choice but then I may be ever so slightly biased.
Find a flat area (lawn, etc) and lay everything from old van in a single layer.
We did and found duplicates of stuff neither of us remembered buying.

Good choice, downsized from a hymer A class no regrets.

We need to have a chat sometime about van options, and I like the way you're thinking. You're only down the road from me. I'll PM you :)

What’s waxol?

Waxoil or dinitrol are a rust preventer which can be bought in a gallon can,it is applied with a parafin long nose spray gun powered by a small compressor to all internal box sections and inside door panels where moisture eats from the inside out,its a must do.
Cars vans etc all corrode from the inside out as there is no paint in there to stop rust.
And yes there are better products out there now and i think as others say your van is galvoed
