Happened on my fiat
Garage hadn't done whatever. Threatened limp mode (ooer) .
Ended up at fiat garage . They had to (by their rules) change oil and filter before reset.
Expensive
I don't know about how Fiat do it, but on my Vauxhall there is an "Oil Life Remaining" display - and that number is based purely on maths .... starts at 100% after reset and reduces by 100/365 every day regardless of usage.

Hold down the Accelerator for 60 secs, then pump the brake 7 times, wait for 60 secs then turn off the ignition. You then wait a further 60 secs and all should be returned back to normal
Thanks all. Before doing the obvious reset, I was wondering if there could be anything more sinister going on other than forgetfulness of the servicing garage. Seems like reset is the way to go.

Thanks. The one I use is similar, but no brake pumping, just holding brake and accelerator down together. It's good to have a back up tho in case mine doesn't work this time.
They didn't do service . Was in the west country and just wanted it reset .
They said that as Fiat dealers they would have to change oil and filter before reset .
May well be Fiat rules but .....
