Hi everyone, we do have a few questions to ask, here's the 2nd.

Does anyone have a list of CDP points for the UK?
Or simply what do you do when wild camping & you need to empty the toilet?

Best wishes from Martin & Sonia :)

CDP Points

If you are ever near a navigable river or canal there are loads of places to empty your loos!

Hi and welcome,Martin and Sonia, if you're a member of the C anddCC(the friendly club) you can visit designated sites to do this and top up your water and also use there facilities for 3 hours, and all for just £5.

Or you could just do what one cheeky couple did on the commercial site We were on this year;), they drove in and reversed onto the nearest hardstanding to the toilets, then scurried around for ten minutes, emptying toilet and filling with water before making a sharp exit:eek:.

I was just about to offer them a cuppa but couldnt see them for dust as they left:(:D

Emptying Loos

Have I read this correctly? Please tell me you are joking?
What you are implying is totally against the law and anyone attempting this can be and will be fined severely.

Its a good job you were doing a wind up.

Please people if you are going to Wild Camp have a bit of respect for this wonderful land of ours.

I have used public toilets, there's one in the middle of every town!!

As a boater with several of these floaty things, discretely using these facilities would have not been to much of a problem!

Many places have public loo's attached like on the Thames, rather useful in London area but many have public access without goon patrols to take you to jail!

'Elsan' disposal points are widely available all over the canal network and local information points around the canal will list their positions!

The information was supplied without any offence intended but gives further options or 'strings' to the wild campers 'bow'!

These days I would be more worried of some offensive little council 'jobsworth' catching you with your case in the public loo or indeed with the present climate a cctv filming you doing the 'dirty'!

Hi thanks for your info on this subject.

We will only be disposing of our waste at loo's or Elsan disposal sights, lol.

As far as the MHS points in the C&C book, not many down south.

Years ago on American RVs there was a wonderful device where the "black" water was piped off round the exhausts and then blown away as dust :D
