A number of people have said they use bio washing up liquid in their Thetford loos.

I'm interested to know how much is used and is it diluted or put in neat?

Please be gentle, I'm a cassette toilet virgin. :)

Bio "Clothes" washing liquid

Was my understanding.

I dont like the various blu or green liquids and understand that with these you need to use proper CDP.
I believe these do NOT use normal sewage disposal routes

Again I understand that with bio liquids you can use normal toilet facilities to dump as it does not conflict with sewage works
I Ie same as dirty water from washing clothes at home

I am sure others members will help us both on this

YES ANOTHER POO THREAD !!!

Its Bio Washing Power not Washing up liquid just put 1 Tablet or 2 if you prefer If using powder its trial and error a small amount to start with and say 1/2l of water.

Thanks for the clarification Alf.

I Don't add ANYTHING Other than WHITE VINIGAR to 'Prime' the cassette prior use, I Don't Use ANYTHING other than Water to Clean my Cassette when I empty. I have a Pre Mixed 80% White Vinegar /20% Water in a Spray Bottle Next to the Toilet Tissue, That after Flushing I Give a few Sprays of.

I don't have many Visitors !.

It's Bio Washing Liquid (in sachets) that we use, one in the cassette after emptying ready for the next 'load' and one in the waste (grey) water, after emptying.
We have found it reduces (not eliminates), some of the smells, and even sometimes get the smell of the sachet. :)

Currently using Tesco Bio Tablets plain water in the toilet Flush. ........ but in winter I add a solution of Screen wash fluid as an antifreeze to the toilet flush tank

Any preferred brand?

Roger I have a Haynes Berlingo Manual, if any good to you send me a PM

Not really, just going through the motions :wacko::wacko:

We use Aldi bio tablets, it does niff a bit when getting full, but everything breaks down extremely efficiently and does no harm to septic tanks or local loo's. In desperation you can dig a small hole and empty it in too, if your stuck out in the wilds, whilst still protecting the environment.

We use Formil washing up liquid from Lidl. Maybe 0.5l water and a large capfull of detergent. Shake to activate, and forget.

One or two Oppy? I usually use two but if I can do the job with one...:):)

I always use Lidl,s bio tablets, they work fine. Best not to look at your contents as you are emptying , you may find the colour off putting, just go through the motions. No pun intended.

We use 60ml of aqua blue and 1 cap full of bio liquid.
Make sure you eat 40 grams fibre a day you want to be aiming at a type 4
