mm....im good but the weather isnt so good today ....the forecast is better for tommorow but we could do with some more rain to top up the reservoirs and get rid of the hose pipe ban
**** ...whats happening on here ? , has it turned into an old people chat room or summat
Started the day with a Porpoise on toast; delicious - Let the Bull loose amongst some picnickers - evicted three Tenants (but don't get too concerned they were all over 90 and wouldn't know what was happening) - Put up a lot of "Road Closed" signs, that should keep the Thundering Herd out - ordered a new pair of shotguns from Purdeys - took Combine for a nice slow drive on Saturday (needs a Police escort to clear the roads first...) - took silage tanker for a drive past Yacht Club -
Sunday had to clear a sewage run-out tank from the Piggery (5000 pigs near the Widdlington on Sea Caravan Park). Was taking too long so resorted to dynamite... remember what goes up, must come down. Shame that wind was in the wrong direction... Went over for drinkies with Archie Pillockington-Smythe. His delightful Mem. was there as were the children, Antonia, Tarquin, Archie jnr, Harriot, Jemima, Henry and Zacharias,
Back home exhausted after talking to Accountant about the latest wheeze for tax avoidance and drinking Château Infuriater
i had a great weekend , worked as usual, but my guests appreciated my efforts in sourcing and serving the best local produce . The grilled osprey breast went down very well , and on Saturday afternoon i went to the lake fishing for kippers for sundays breakfast
