Hi,We have a fiat bessacarr E745 3.8 yr2000 and found a problem lighting it on the gas side, push down and turn to ignition hold for 20sec then turn to flame but it goes out ,heater is carver space heater 2000P fanmaster,i understand we cannot get spares for this now so can you help with repair, thank you .

If the pilot flame is lighting but going out, pretty sure the thermocouple is the culprit ...( the thermocouple allows the gas control valve to remain open)
I am not familiar with carvers ...but two things to check....firstly any electrical connections are sound, secondly the condition of the probe which sits under the flame ....actually first thing to check ....if it is deterioated I.E corroded by heat then that is the give away .

Spares I cant help you with but it is perhaps possible to buy a new thermocouple from an alternative heater ...and transplant the exisiting connections ...

If you cannot find a replacement thermocouple then New heater

Channa

An additional thought have you recently changed your gas bottle ?......occasionally air can get in the system which needs to be purged before the flame will stay lit ...all to do with the mix ....that said 4 or 5 repeated attempts at lighting and the flame is still going out points to the Thermocouple

Have you tried CAK Tanks for parts? Tel 01926 854271. Or perhaps try eBay, quite a choice of used heaters, you may find one to cannibalise.
