Hi everyone, I. stay in the Liverpool area and I am looking for a supplier to make new fitted carpets can take my old ones as templates for the new ones, does anyone know a good supplier please dont mind driving a reasonable distance to get them TIA

Carpet stores should know someone who will bind the edges on a carpet of your choice. We recarpeted our L shaped hall in the house, and we had lots of waste, so we used it to recarpet the van - the cost to get the edges done was just over £100.

The cost was the good news; the bad news was that the weight of the house carpet wiped out your payload ... [based on the room-sized offcut I had to carry to the Recycling Centre 2 weeks ago - 'We cannot take carpetsin the Charity Goods Cabin' ...]

Kustom Sport didn't have patterns for my left hand drive Hymer so they made them while I was there, it was 20 years ago and they were just getting established, excellent quality and a good price, a very friendly family and nothing was too much trouble for them,I still have the cab carpet fitted

I fitted a wooden floor and then got carpet cut free samples given to me, these are handy in the van and can be binned when knackered.

I recently had new carpets fitted while on my way home from Scotland. Quotation and carpet selection were done prior to my trip. Fitting was at their premises while my partner and I went for a walk along the towpath of the Lancaster Canal - about 75 minutes. They do offer a mobile service at higher cost, but don't come as far south as my home, so a short diversion off the M6 was the ideal option. Very pleased with the finished job - very well fitted (much better than the originals).
