A little childish, then again, I am at times. The horn on my MH seems a bit old fashioned. It just makes a "Beep" when sounded. I would like a much better sound to it. Definitely not like a Trucker horn, blairing and loud like a train. Something more suitable for the size of the vehicle. Any tips on what sort, how much it costs and also how much to have it fitted. Thanks.

They sell the novelty horns around here for about 7 quid. You can make your van moo like a cow or crow like a cockrell.

car horns

go to any scrap yard and get a horn off a old lorry or a ford motor then just attach it to the wires already fitted about £2.00i all

My van is fitted with twin electric horns which make it sound like a large car. People notice so I believe they are safer.
The last van had a single feeble horn which was generally ignored.(No I don't normally drive around blasting the horn)
Twin horns are readilly available at prices to suit most drivers. Car spares outlets, eBay etc. Fitting is usually straight forward but if you can't do it yourself why not have them changed when the van goes in for service?

Alfa Romeo 156's generally have nice loud horns, so it coul dbe worth finding one in a scrappy
