me the wife and dog are looking to go to scotland perth arie or devon and cornwall for 2 weeks we want a site with a beach on site prevering a cl site with electric and showers , or wales would be ok, can anyone suggest any looked on campsite uk but not much look. thanks all come on bring em all on.:lol-053:

i think you maybe being a bit restrictive with the areas you'd like to go to :idea-007:, you may have to wide'n your choices a bit :idea:

The site I can think of immediately is called Pentewan Sands, it's on the road from St Austell to Mevagissey and it has it's own private beach frontage, showers, hook-ups, shop and club with bands, cabaret acts etc in season. It is a short walk from the site into Pentewan village itself, and if I remember rightly there is a pub there called the Ship Inn that sells local ales and good meals.

It is a commercial site with prices to match, and does get very busy around school and bank holidays but if that's what you want then I suppose each to their own.

The wife and I tent camped on there once a few years ago in our BME ( before motorhome era ) period.

but looking forcl,s dont like the big sites don,t want amuzments club houses just a peacefull site thanks any way but if i have to widen my search can anyone tell me any good cl,s with a beach on sita anywhere in england , thanks again,

If you are looking for C,Ls or C,S sites you will have to be a member of the relevant club to use these sites so why not browse the site books from these clubs which you will have , that way you will find what you want?
