Campsite

Spent last two nights on a campsite in Portabello, Dunedin. Each camping bay had its own dump station, tap and hookup. There was a well stocked kitchen, laundry with driers, lounge, dining room, modern showers and toilets. There was also BBQs, 5 minute walk to a good chippy with a choice of 8 different fish, good restaurant and pub.

Site fees $42 or about £23 in high season.

Think you need minimum (probably a lot more though) of 200 thousand fivers to emigrate there now if you’re not intending to work!

Have you been on the railway while there? The station is a lovely building.....

Went last Ruth, didn't bother this time as it is covered in scaffolding but yes, it is a lovely building.
