Hi everyone, I'm off to Skye this weekend does anyone know of some good places to stop overnight?

You will find plenty off parking places round on the coast roads.We went round last year and there were plenty of places and no trouble at all.Just look for nice flat pull ins,look near,kilt rock waterfall,and old man of storr,near portree and near loch leathan.We also found the site at portree let us fill up and dump our waste for free,just stop and ask every were seem very helpfull up there.Hope you have a very nice time and enjoy youselfs.

After Broadford, some useful areas near the turning right signed Moll (do NOT drive that road after the first cottage on the left). Near Sligachan, areas on the right. At Sligachan turn left (Dunvegan) parts of the old road can be found. Near Dunvegan, signed Harlosh Loop Rd., turn left to crossroads and left to the beach. Dunvegan to Borve (Portree) sections of old road.

Agree with all above. We went in July had no problems at all. Very friendly and helpful people and lovely touring area.
