Hi I live in Wiltshire and there are a host of places readily available to wild for a night at a time, When you say you have a 95 American RV what size is it? and where abouts in Wiltshire because it is a very big place there are a few places on the wild camping forum but if you let me know where abouts you want to go I will look in my little blue book and see if I know any where in that area.

Hi , the RV is 25ft long , we plan to head towards bath and longleat . thanks Pam

Along the A36 there are some nice Big layby's one such is (I Think) 51.19552 2.20051 Also Warminster trading estate is not far from there and it is possible to find a nice quite place down there

Hi there's a really great place to stop overlooking the vale of Pewsey, just underneath Knap Hill. It's a parking spot that is common land and people can park-up there legally. It's off a minor road between pewsey and Devizes (sorry the maps don't give it a name), you can find it on OS Explorer map 157, grid ref 117 637. Alton Priors is the nearest village.
I was last there in early July and stayed all night looking for crop-circles (don't ask), there were quite a few other vehicles up there so it was like a mini-festival.
