Hi All,
anyone else going to the show? I will be there on the 13th and you will find me drooling over the Bilbo's and the Jerba VW converters stand.
I will be the short fat bloke with dribble in my beard..... ;)

regards

Dave

Nec

Yes we are going. I have booked to stay at the CC site although it is £25 a night. The last time we went to the NEC was about 10yrs ago to Crufts and parking was awful so we thought we had better book something and all the sites in the area were full. We will be there Thursday and Friday looking to see if there are any bargains before the end of the season. -Sue

Yes, we are there all day on the 13th, staying at the on-site camping Monday and Tuesday nights.

Yes I will be there most days i have booked a rover ticket i think its called for every day . Well I only live 10 Min's in the van away

Yes, I will be there too. I have booked-in to the CCC site at Kingsbury Water Park. I will attend NEC on Wednesday and Thursday. It is a great place to buy accessories and as I will have the 'van instead of flying I do not have to worry about weight restrictions on a plane.

I'm probably going. I didn't go last year but went two years ago and had a great time. This year I'll be looking at parts from the accessories stands, and crawling over the vans for ideas.

I have never been before, I am looking to sell my Hymer or p/x for something smaller, I would really like a Sprinter elwb van with a bespoke conversion to suit 2 people and 2 dogs, do converters exhibit?

I think it's too expensive for most bespoke converters to exhibit there.

You'll find a list of the exhibitors here:

(Exhibition home page here: International Caravan & Motorhome 2009 - Welcome)

But like Andy says, it's only the bigger converters and also dealers that show up. I'm sure some would discuss vehicles to order but probably wouldn't stray too far from one of their existing products.

Its always a good show with lots to see, but ofcourse you need to win the lottery to be able to afford some of the fancy rigs!

Kingsbury water park is always a great place to stay, although a bit pricey if your not a camping and caravan club member! Just paid approx 55 quid for two nights (caravanning4u rally), in a couple of weeks time.
