I’m looking at getting a tracker fitted to my vw t5, does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks 😊

Depends on what you are looking for, the type you fit and track using your phone or a pro fitted type that is monitored 24/7 that you pay a yearly subscription for.
i Have a Phantom Sentinal tracker fitted that is monitored 24/7 365 days a year. My insurance insisted I had a tracker fitted from their approved list and it’s been excellent from day 1. Never had to use it in anger as never stolen yet fingers crossed but I often open the garage door without knocking the alarm / tracker off and I get a phone call within 60 seconds from the monitoring centre.

After months of seeing 'help my camper has been stolen, look out for this van' (white sprinter picture ) posts on FB the theme tends to be that thieves choose indistinguishable vans, easily done with the masses of T5's. I know nothing about trackers so sorry but I can't help there, but with the reasoning that prevention is better than cure personalise your van if not done so already as well as fit a tracker. Not compass/mountains as they are too popular and don't stand out anymore.

Hope you never need your tracker

That’s a good idea, hadn’t thought of that 😀

I fitted a TK star tracker gifgaf 2 g pay as you go sim cost pennies to run
The one I posted above is the same re running costs but will be expensive when we get a chance to return to Europe when roaming charges start
