Just think Graham Rowntree park would probably have been more expensive. Also I assume you are a member, non members would pay more.

I do believe hence I have resigned my membership.

A pitchup search reveals sites within 3.7 miles of the centre of York from £47 for 2 nights including electric hook up with a bus stop right outside the entrance taking you into the centre of York.

Rowntree park is permanently booked up and AFAIK Bill, non members have £15 extra per night to pay
