We are planning a trip in our vw camper first week of august with 2 children. We want to spend a few days surfing in hossegor than travel to my parents in Spain. Has anyone got any recommendations of places to stay along our route, any advice much appreciated.
go right down to capbreton was there last year its a long way but well worth the journey as there were loads of surfers there fantastic beach and as you are going to spain its on your way just google it and you will find it.aire is just behind the beach which streches for miles i printed directions from aa route planner and told it to avoid toll roads and it was fine plenty of places to stop on the way down if you dont need ehu just use the pull ins with toilets for the night they are set back thats all we did .

Thanks John that sounds just up our street as don't want to book anything as we want to be able to go at our own pace. Was the aire particularly busy? Julie
was when i was there the french seem to use it a lot at weekends a bit quieter through the week. it was about £8 a night with ehu we stayed ten days and it was great a bread van came every other day in the morning with fresh bread. it is all hard standing just like a big car park we just found a spot and waited for someone to come and collect the money we just paid a few days at a time as we had no plans hope this helps.john
More than helpful John the thought of fresh bread has swayed it for me , this is where we will definitely be heading. We are leaving south Wales on 3rd august so il let you know how we get on thanks again:wave:
