You just could not possibly write the script. The organisation that has increased its prices, charges us for leccy we don’t always want has an article in this months rag giving us tips on how to save money. You know the usual stuff, tryre pressures, reducing speed, smooth acceleration, keeping the weight down, I was waiting for the punch line, and they never fail.

how about "Save Fuel. Turn your driveway into a private C&MC campsite just for you. Costs just £10/Day when prebooked with us."

Does that include EHU David, or is that optional :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Perhaps someone can explain how staying at an overpriced C&MC site longer saves us money. They did try, and I think I got their gist. ;)

TRAVEL SHORTER DISTANCES

We once went to a C&C rally that was 0.9 miles from home.
(Actually SWMBO picked me up from the station and it was 1.2 miles getting there, but only 0.9 getting back)

Anyone claim a shorter journey from home to a site?- over nighting on your drive doesn't count!

Burntisland Leisure Centre; about 350m by road, or 150m on foot across the Links if we've forgotten anything ... We have only on street parking and the bloody fair from 31st May to 30th September makes getting back into 'our' space practically impossible until 8pm or even later, on Summer weekends, so we often drive over to the Leisure Centre parking and watch the bay until the hordes of visitors clear off. Of course, if Fife Council employed Parking Attendants at weekends to enforce the 30 mins parking ... Apparently it costs too much, but there are regularly 100+ overstayers [£60 a ticket or £30 if paid within 7 days], so heaven knows how much the Parking Attendants must be paid ...

The leisure centre carpark is one of the very best Steve. We only go there in quieter times, but we did end up spending a night there in June last year, and even then there was plenty of space. We enjoy the walk from Aberdour to Burntisland. And you live in possibly the most Motorhome friendly council in Scotland, possibly even the U.K. if only many others did likewise.
