New to the motorhome scene, would like help/tips from anyone who has the same type of van, first thing is i have the safari room for the awning and am having difficulties with the fixings, getting them to stay in place at the top end bar is difficult

I have a safari room on my eldiss and use large plastic clips to clip to the top of the awning .i have attached a photo,dont know if yours is similar but it works ok for me
