The stickers represent Spain and are usually bought there.....

bull sticker

the black bull signs can be seen all over spain, at the side of motorways and dual carriageways.
they used to carry the logo of the local brandy,( veterano i think.)
but the powers that be decided that the signs were distracting motorists on the roads, and said they should be removed.
but the brandy company got away with just painting all the signs black.
the signs can still be seen and all the spanish people know what they mean.
as you can see loads of car stickers have been made to replicate these signs.

live long and prosper:D:D

You will also quite frequently see a similar black outline of a wild hog. This denotes the Basque region.

It started in Andalusia as part of an advertising campaign for Osborne Brandy - http://www.andalucia.com/culture/osborne-bull.htm

It is not a Spanish Nationalist thang; that is what is told to El Touristas by ignorant holiday reps :D

The sticker usually costs about €3 to €5.

The other one to look out for is the Moose symbol: That comes from somewhere on the Dutch/Belgium/Ardennes area but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that.
