BT Internet e-Billing and payment service

Just noticed I have an email 'Your BT Internet e-Billing and payment service' asking for my details, it even seems to have links to legitimate parts of the BT website Considering I'm with BT & it's a Hotmail account I use for junk such as this it looks very convincing.

I know the hardened internet users are aware of scams like this but a warning for any newbies to the web.

If you are in doubt about an email just put the header into google & you will soon see if it throws up any warnings about scams.

ALWAYS look to see if ANY page that asks for details starts with https and that the padlock symbol is show at the end of the address bar, also the other give away is when you run the cursor over a link to say BT, look down at the web address being displayed in the bottom L/H corner of the screen! If it doesn't show the site they are talking about then it's a phishing scam!
