Blimey, you must be one of there happy customers.

We brought our van off them.

Us like many, cant wait for them to go down the pan, the worst company we have ever brought from.:(

After we paid the deposit they did 476 miles in it.
Took a good remote CD Radio player out and put a crap on in and it never even worked properly.
Took the tow eye off the front, with is a special extra for an A Class.

All this to replace has cost me very little, but has cost them THOUSANDS.

I have been to 4 shows this year slaging then off, and putting off buyers, we post on 4 forums in the uk, and 1 in Germany.:D NUFF SAID. :rolleyes:Bob.

Pickering

Brownhills had quite a few at Pickering. But they could have come from any of their remaining branches. I for one didn't even go into their area. But there again I only bought my new van 3 weeks ago!

Other than *****, I have never heard anyone have a good word for them.

Got to say we are also not their best fans but have bought 3 !!! yes 3 !!!!!! motorhomes from newark branch its all about the deal . You have to accept CUSTOMER SERVICE is something that after the deal is done , does not exist . However cant slagg em as i do without special praise for one guy there who without his help we would ave been in a mess and that is GEOFF TUCKER finance . Still waiting for some parts that were missing when we purchased it 11 months ago soap dish etc prob £20 of parts very poor service .

A good deal of course is a state of mind ?

I have read this thread with interest and it does seem communication skills are lacking in keeping customers aware.

But part of the poor service it seems is not Brownhills it is the manufacturers of vans who seem inept at providing spare parts ( this would also explain the rob Peter to pay Paul scenario)..........So perhaps Brownhills is doing its best to keep customers happy by robbing parts ?

I have never dealt with them but just a different angle on what could be happening ?

11 months eh One Stop- SNAP !! They've had 3 trys now at ordering a seat cover, 2 attempts at fixing the leccy window. I've given up on anything else. Spoke with the "Customer Service Manager" on Thursday last week who told me the seat cover was expected in today ( Monday) but he'd rather "have the part in his hand" before we get all giddly & book the van in.

Have to agree with the various comments above - if you're lucky you will get a great deal - we saved tons even on the prices in Germany ( Even today nearly a year later you can't buy the same van for what we gave last year) but once you drive away you're pretty much on your own - they should bin those shiny new Passats out side the Service are and up up a rail for their horses to be tied to.

Good Luck & see you in the queue.
