britax rear lens for hymer classic

a rear light cover on my 2000 584 classic is broken ...it is not a sealed unit as you have to take it off to change the bulbs

but can I find one ??? have been looking in france where they say they can order a complete assembly at some crazy price

is it possible to buy the plastic on it's own , and if so where ?
 
I am surprised it is a Britax unit. Is it original?

Jokon make many of the European plastic covers, you could try a google.
 
yep , original ; have seen the same lamps on lots of hymers of the same generation

Is there a part number written on the lens? I too am surprised it is a Britax unit, all my Hymers have had Hella components.
I have have to source a replacement and found Travelworld (new Hymer agent) to be very helpful and competitively priced give them a go.
 
have managed to trace the paart number of the assembly , it is a britax 9300

apparently was used on several makes of motorhome 10 years or so ago , so will try dealers for other makes as well as hymer
