Hi, Only four weeks before we head off for Italy & all points south. When we leave Milan we intend to take a different route back this time . Turin - Briancon - Savines le Lac, before hitting the tourest trail again at Avignon. Not travelled this bit between Turin & Avignon before, has anybody done this particular stretch ?

Dezi p.s. I do have all my free aires sorted.
 
We are doing italy for our honeymoon next christmas. How did you get the free aires list?

I did it about 8 years ago (in the other direction). I had to make a detour for the Tour de France did come along in the whereabouts. From Turin onwards take the road to Pinerolo and then the Val de Chisone towards Sestriere ( a nice mountain road I remember) than over the frontier and the Col de Montgenèvre to Briançon et voilà la belle France

Hi, Plenty of sites with free aires posted on them. Go to the European section on this site for a place to start. Try not to lose your concentation while combining honeymooning & driving. Remember those Continentals insist on driving on the wrong side of the road.
