Book info requested, please

About 15-20 years a go I partly read a very funny book, then lost it, where the Queen and other members of the Royal family had to live in a council house, pensioners bungalow.

Anyone remember the title and author??

Sounds like a fun book. I just recently read all the Adrian Mole books and had forgotten how funny they were. I think I appreciate the humour more than when I read the earliest ones as a teenager.

she also wrote Adrian mole and the weapons of mass destruction. brillint and very funny author

besides the Adrian Mole books she also wre a very funny book called queen camilla and another called number ten.

If you like a good read with hilarious plots then read books by Tom Sharp, especially the ones with 'Blott' in the title.

He was chucked out of South Africa for lampooning Apartheid.

If you want a REALLY good read, then try the Terry Pratchett Discworld books, absolutely brilliant. SWMBO and I get them as audio books, put them on the iPod and listen to them on our journeys.

No, they were kicked out of that one for anti-social behaviour. They were moved to a council estate where they knew no one.

Can't happen soon enough as far as I'm concerned - up the republic!!!
