Bonneval France .

https://ibb.co/album/0C7bqH We used this Aire at Bonneval on our latest Jolly to Spain, it has all facilities free , lovely walled town to explore river /canal runs through the town and you can hire a small boat to travel round if that floats your boat hee hee there is lots to see here, there are over 100 wash houses on the canal, most are decorated with flowering plants and fun to wander round seeking them out, there is a workshop where a Blacksmith produces great feature items some for sale, beautiful Chateau here too but it is used as an Hospital / nursing home so not allowed to view it, the Aire is very large unrestricted and close to the river, a great place to stay a night or two en route to where ever. We watched a Duck lay an egg on the river bank while we were there, she then just waddled off and left it ?

We were in Bonneval on April 22nd 2018 at the time of the motorcycle gathering. Brilliant parade and the bikers gathered at the church on the Sunday for the blessing from the bloke in the frock with the water sprinkler.

I hope this link works. It's a short video of the parade of motorcycles after the benediction and the following rock concert in the square.

The lad who is stopped for a chat actually led the parade off when the band wrapped up and set up a lovely racket with his Harley to tremendous cheers all round. Then he stalled it and the place erupted in laughter.
