Blog Creation

I thought I would start a blog, and have created a draft entry. I have had a bad day at work where everything has gone wrong (e-mails, database - you name has stopped working)
I am just waiting for our new Hosting company to come and sort out my Helpdesk inbox as we have had no external mail for 3 days! so I thought I would continue to edit my blog ready for publication. I cant seem to open it for editing, just read only. Should I wait for tomorrow which can only be better than today, or does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong

Thanks t&s, thats where I am having the problem, I have started but not published, and now want to edit it.
