Every time we look out through the fly screens there they are. Spots of black mould that appear first when the blinds were left rolled up in the winter to avoid stretching the springs. Tried everything to get rid of them but there they remain...scrubbing with bleach, mould remover...nothing seems to work. Has anybody got a remedy? Also got greeny mould patches on huge concertina blinds on the door. All bleach and mould remover achieved was to turn the blinds a patchy grey colour...the mould here might be dead, but any ideas for recolouring it?

In this boiling hot weather the mold would be killed off anyway, I think you will find they will need replacing.

Have you tried old school CIF powder not the new crappy liquid version, my nan always used to use it on her nets for years worth a go cos pound place does it sometimes if I remember she put some powder on the sponge tad of water to make a paste then rubs the net they come up white so may be worth a try before you buy expensive new. :)

Might be worth trying a thinned down coating Vinyl Silk Emulsion if the last resort was to buy new ones, the Vinyl Silk is flexible but the matt would crack, I`ve used it to recolour cloth lampshades, but you need a couple of thinned down coats.
