Black mountains - wales

We're off to the Black Mountains on Friday with our Autocruise Valentine - brilliant vehicle. Does anyone know if there are there any restrictions on wilding in this area? We like to get off the beaten track and into the forest as far as possible. Any advice would be appreciated.

Depending on which area you're going to, I think you should be OK. If you fancy panoramic landscape views, you could try parking by Hay Bluff accessed via the lane on the left as you leave Hay-on-Wye heading towards Brecon. (You can also camp for one night in seven in Hay-on-Wye car park.)

some very narrow roads off the beaten track...avoid.. unless you want yer new van scratched to piece..
