Hi O S ,
On the north eastern side of G B there are plenty of wild camping open spaces especailly from Beverley and upwards . Beverley has a great place for dog walking when W Cing at the old marina. Durham has a huge car park where the old railway is a country park. Northumberland has too many to mention . Then get up to Scotland so long as the weathers not dodgy , you can even o/night on the car park at Sandringham House but best of all in Scotland is getting into the forests in the middle of nowhere which in fact is mostly everywhere north of Glasgow . If you have heard of Cullen Sink you can go the the seaside village it originates from ,buy some and o/night on the quayside getting it down ya. The few i've mentioned are legit ( there might be a cheap honesty box at one or two ) but thats up to you, just leave things tidy
when you leave . Oh don't forget the clifftop carpark overlooking the beach at Kingsbarns with the golf course behind you.
Happy Wild Camping
