Bicycle insurance

I am hoping you can help with advice about bicycle insurance. My house contents policy does cover the bikes but only for up to 60 days abroad. When I look for specialist ones it seems to jump from UK only to Global (including US etc) and race fees etc so are a bit pricey. Does anyone know of a happy medium which will cover us for up to 90 days just in Europe. And definitely no racing cover needed!

can't help with your question would it wise to travel with a bike you can afford to lose and forget expensive insurance .

According to them my £3000 electric bike will cost £60 more to cover per annum than my £30,000 motorhome!

Thanks for the suggestion and comments. I now have cover for two e-bikes for £158 including 90 days European cover. This is less than the van insurance I am happy to say (but probably still proportionately more expensive!). I can only assume the bikes are more prone to being stolen. I went with Velosure which gives cover for multiple bikes and you can specify e-bikes. Very easy to get the policy as well.
