Best route from Calais to Benicasim.

Hi,
We are travelling from calais down to benicasim [spain] next week. We dont know wether to use the N10 through france to the somport tunnel then down to zaragoza to pick up the A23 to sagunto or can any one suggest a better route?

you don't say whether you just want to get there or if you want to wander down enjoying the trip ...depends on your time scale really ...personally I like to enjoy the trip ....would take me at least 10 days

Vielha Tunnel.

Take your pick Mike on your route through France as mentioned in the other thread,

however I would suggest via Irun, up the old N121a to Pampalona and then down to Teruel

Cant help you with Somport as I have never used it, however I have used both Tunnel Bielsa which I would not recommend as a very slow road up the Col de Aspin to it and Tunnel Vielha which has pretty good roads both to and from it.

Which tunnel is the old narrow single lane one with bad lighting Vielha or Bielsa?
