Best permenant roof mounted TV ariel

Hi Guys. well i went and met Nigel today who is hopefully going to do a kit out my my van shortly and need to get alot of bits in a short space of time. I am keen to hear your views on TV ariels, I had a status 80 i think it was last time and it proved quite good most of the time... n ogood in france but then I didnt expect it to be! i was hoping to spend at most £100 including the booster etc but could stretch a bit more if i had too... having to young kids and doing a lot of wilding in all weathers having tv unfortunately is a must and quite an important feature of our van so your help would be appreciated

Avtex aerials seem very good. Small and discreet but not cheap.

When the UK goes all digital later this year, a less powerful aerial should be sufficient once they have ramped up the digital signal.

I've fitted a status 530 ariel and it works fantastic, have a look at techno100's post on fitting one of these ariels, very good info.
