What is the best android phone to buy?
I've had my old reliable Nokia phone for years, thinking of a new phone, don't want iphone, Android seems to be the future way to go...
A phone with GPS that will take our Wild camping POIs
Maybe one that will take dual sims, and triband to use in Europe....(unlocked)

I'm a big fan of the Google Nexus, HTC Desire (or the HD version for crystal clear graphics, the Z version if you want a qwerty keyboard) and Samsung Galaxy S.

As well as Android, you might want to look into the phones coming out now with the Windows 7 operating system, such as the Samsung Omnia 7, Dell Venue Pro (qwerty keyboard) and HTC hd7.
 
these phones all very nice but are £300+ each, how about Chinese android v2.2 phones on ebay for about £100, with dual sim, unlocked and GPS

There's an excellent Sony Ericson android available for about £90, i'll see if i can find out the model name. I'd trust that over an unknown brand, and any phone can be unlocked for a few quid.
