belgian gas bottles

my brother who lives in belgium tells me that the thread on the gas bottles there is the same as the ones he used in germany [ same as france/netherlands ]
question is , is that correct , and is it like france , butane/propane in the same bottle

and what about denmark /sweden ? norway is like spain /irish republic with adaptor to french thread
