Post number 3 and I make myself look like an alkie. :D

I'm wondering what the legal situation is and how it relates to being disturbed by the police. I guess if you are in a layby you could technically be "drunk in charge"? Does that apply if you are off the road as well?

What do people think? Anyone care to confess a personal experience?

No drinkers on this forum, all T Total ;)

This has been discussed before, If you are parked in a layby I would say be careful as most laybys will be covered by bylaws prohibiting overnight parking although maybe ignored by the police technically you are on the road and therfore they would be within the law to ask you to move on. Carparks and designated overnight parking spots different story.
