I had these instructions sent to me today they come from a trusted source
does this raise an racial point !! against the treatment of anybody other than Muslims


THESE ARE INSTRUCTIONS HANDED OUT TO ALL OFFICERS AT C.I.D COURSES AND ANTI-TERRORISTS COURSES IN THE BEDFORDSHIRE FORCE/SERVICE


Bedfordshire Police’s rules regarding terrorists and dangerous criminals


If they’re non-Muslim

• Consider the most opportune time of day to be able to arrest suspects with minimum resistance
• Apply all necessary force to enter the premises and arrest suspects accordingly.


If they’re Muslim:

• Community leaders must be consulted before raids into Muslim houses.
• Officers must not search occupied bedrooms and bathrooms before dawn.
• Use of police dogs will be considered serious desecration of the premises.
• Cameras and camcorders should not be used in case of capturing women in
inappropriate dress.
• If people are praying at home officers should stand aside and not disrupt the prayer.
They should be allowed the opportunity to finish.
• Officers should take their shoes off before raiding a Muslim house.
• The reasons for pre-dawn raids on Muslim houses needs to be clear and transparent.
• Officers must not touch holy books or religious artefacts without permission.
• Muslim prisoners should be allowed to take additional clothing to the station.

Strictly speaking westbay, I would say that you are correct and it is more like 'sectarian'.

However, I have seen 'muslims' arrested on TV programmes and they accuse the Police of being "racist".

So if they are happy to use that word, why should we not? (or are you being racist? :D)
 
I'm not sure what your trusted source was, but this old chain text has been posted on message boards and in emails for a few years usually with instructions to forward to as many people as possible. I wonder if that might ring any bells...

I think April 1 is a favourite date for distribution :D

Islam is a religion. The word "sect" is used within religions, usually in a derogatory way, to denote groups who interpret the religion differently from the group doing the describing. Thus, within Islam there are many "sects" such as the Sunni, the Shia, the Sufi and so on - just as there are "sects" within Christianity - Catholic, Protestant, Mormon etc......

That is only for normal tomfoolery. Racist stuff seems to come out pretty much anytime.

I've checked the legisltion thoroughly - "Gatesheadism" isn't a race it's an affliction. Mind you, that cat looks a bit oriental to me........

Reading up on AndyC's link it seems there is some truth in original advice to police to help them be aware of different communities.

But the text as printed seem to me to be reminiscent of something that would appear in a tabloid "newspaper" ( ie mainly fictional comic). They take a 1/3 of the truth and lace it propaganda.

I believe the adjusted text was used to promote a vote for the BNP according to one chain email context I read about in a search on the subject.

look at it this way, two sets of protesters one lot chanting death and insults at a row of our dead troops in hearses, and another wanting rights for british people who gets the most greif from the police ,then look at the original post
