Bed for baby - travel cot or roofspace?

Hi am a newbie (in case you had'nt guessed!). We've just brough a VW Trident and have 10 month old baby, am now worrying about where to put him to sleep as he may be a bit small to go in the roofspace (not sure what the campervan term for this is! Any suggestions?

Hiya Burpysmurf and welcome ,there are lots of folding camping cots on the market if you have the floorspace. Or how about a carry cot placed on the overbed with a full bed rail.
