After much dithering and struggling with what type of battery to get, I'd pretty much decided to get good quality lead acid batteries.
Looking through Ebay I spotted a 100amp Relion lithium iron phosphate battery, start price £500 or 'Make An Offer', so I offered £450, couldn't believe it when he accepted it. Anyway, drove to Coventry to pick it up today and the battery was still sealed in it's bag and boxed. Brand spanking new!
The seller paid £849 to use in his lock up then changed his mind when he found it was more complicated than he first thought.
I did miss out on a half price 40amp Victron charge controller t'other day so today has more than made up for that.
Well and truly chuffed.
