Battery Died.

Had a problem a couple of days ago with starting the Hymer, each time I turned the key there was just a clunk from the starter motor and the Alarm sounded, I thought it was an Immobiliser problem, further investigation proved it to be a flat battery, my Battery is eight years old and is maintenance free and it had failed. I bought a new battery from Mayday Spares for £85 and fitted it, what a difficult job that was as it is very hard to get at the battery on the Hymer,anyway all is well now.lucky it happened at home as we have just returned from a six month wander in the van.

Crikey, 8 years old! Wish all batteries lasted that long, mine always seem to go on my cars at about 4 - 5 years.
