Currently sat in 30c in a great little spot near Orleans France. Been sat on the iPad most of the day on the grass trying to plan our next move.
Mrs M really wants to see Barcelona but a) it looks like you’re almost guaranteed to get robbed there even in a self build, and b) the weather for the next few days looks terrible.
We are happy to go almost anywhere. Where have YOU had a really top time

If you are heading south, Collonges la Rouge near Brive la Gaillard is worth a visit.

Your missus is on the button, go to Barcelona, it's a mind-blowing, vibrant city. Walk down any side street & you'll see something to make you go Wow!.

You don't have to drive into the city, even I with a hatred of campsites, swallow it there. There's a campground at Mataro, north of Barcelona which lays on a bus to the centre of the city & picks you up in the evening.

There are too many sights to mention here, but Antoni Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Cathedral is a must, as is Parc Guell, also by Gaudi. The campsite can arrange tickets so you don't have to spend hours queuing.

Whatever you do, have a great time.

You could try City Stop Barcelona.

Guarded secure parking for motorhomes in the city, with w.c., showers, water and dump.

Dear nowadays @ 35 euro per 24 hrs, but Barcelona is one of the most expensive European capitals for accommodation.

Korky.

Just 30 minutes on the train to Barcelona Colonia Guell Colonia Guell | El tesoro mejor guardado de Gaudi has a free air. The town is well worth a coat of looking at, just avoid arriving at school run times as the car park air is busy with drop offs/pickups. If you can time your visit to Barcelona to the first Sunday of the month, the fantastic Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya is free. Not to be missed anyway.

Not a destination, but if you do head south, try and take in the Millau viaduct on the A75, worth the small toll fee.
