Took these shots at sunset in Banff last night.
We spent a great night in our favourite carpark near to the harbour last night.
Took the shots of the harbour this morning.

Have you been to Pennan Bill about 10 miles east of there? Its where they filmed a lot of on of my favourite film, Local Hero. There is a photo of me somewhere at the famous red phone box. Spent the night on the small beach there many years ago and of course in the Hotel bar.

We were there two years ago Terry, but we are heading west now.

Banff, my home town. Couldn’t wait to leave as a teenager, now just love to go back. Great photos.

You could do a tour of all the film locations Rob. Most of the exterior "Furness" filming was in Pennan but the beach, interior hotel and the church were over on the west. I have just discovered that he hotel bar was actually a pub in Banff where Bill is!
