I'm taking that as a yes, you can park there all year round, rather than a yes I know if you can or cannot park there all year round

All year round last time we were there. We prefer Linn of Dee. Couple of hundred yards before the falls is a big grass field on the left is where we always parked.

Yes you can but it is on a bit of a slope. A better alternative in my opinion is the Muir of Dinnet nature reserve (car park at the visitor centre) which welcomes motorhomes overnight and has toilet dump and water facilities. Just watch out for the boulders placed around the place!

What we like to do is book a meal in the Flying Stag at the fantastic Fife Arms Hotel in Braemar (well worth a visit if nothing else than to see a genuine Picasso in the coffee area!). We then simply park up overnight in the public car park in Braemar which is within very easy staggering distance of the hotel and handy for a quick snifter on the way back to the van at Farqharson’s Bar!!!
